Abstract
Germaine had only loved once in her life and even after eight years of separation she could not forget her one true love – Tom. They might have divorced and gone separate ways, but there had been no other for her. But when fate throws them together again, will Germaine be able to vow to Tom once more that she was ‘eternally his’?
Tom was heartbroken when Germaine left him, but he engrossed himself in his work fully to forget those bittersweet memories she left behind. He was determined to never love again and definitely not get married ever. Especially now that Germaine was back in his life, he would avoid her at all costs to save himself from one more heartbreak. But does his heart not recognize her as being ‘eternally his’?
Will Germaine be able to overcome Tom’s bitterness and convince him of her undying love? Or will she have to start life without him in it forever? Will her love surmount his hatred and convince him of the one promise she held on to – being ‘eternally his’?
Storyline
Tom and Germaine were childhood sweethearts who grew up to become lovers and eventually married. Germaine had three miscarriages in the five years of her marriage. Their differences caused them to separate and divorce, breaking the vows that they took during their wedding. Not able to fight back the pain of losing her unborn child, Germaine left Tom. Tom could never bear this separation and felt the loss of Germaine much more than the loss of his lost children. Now further eight years down life again throws them together. They spend a night together, but Germaine vanishes again only to turn up two months later pregnant once more. She is scared of losing her baby once more, but she is more scared of facing the pregnancy alone without Tom’s support. Tom hates her for leaving him again, but for his child he cares for her. After some friction they again fall for each other. Germaine gives birth to triplets after a difficult pregnancy. Tom proposes, they marry.
“It’s like you wait until I am happy again, and then you decide to walk right back into my life.”
