Abstract

Like her name Betty Cooper has always been the quintessential, girl-next-door always losing the guy to the ‘Ronnies’ of this world. All her life she has had dreams of a perfect life with a perfect partner, but still she is looking for that perfect life at the ripe age of thirty. On a holiday, to avoid being the censure of her very first boyfriend, she introduces a stranger as her current boyfriend & subsequently fiancé guaranteed to give her the perfect life. But will she actually get a perfect life of her own?

Rick has just been left heart-broken for his workaholic ways. At the behest of a pixie-faced girl with baby blue eyes, he agrees to be her temporary boyfriend. But soon he finds himself getting attracted to this girl. Is this a relationship on the rebound or has he finally found someone to live his own perfect life?

Will Betty fall for Rick and his brooding ways? Or will she always be looking out for that perfect partner? When Ronnie wants to be back in Rick’s life, like others before him will he choose to make a life with Ronnie or Betty? Will the both of them finally have a perfect life?

Storyline

After her not-so-recent break up, Betty Cooper is spending a vacation at a beach where she meets her first boyfriend Dave and his girlfriend Sam. To avoid the censure of Dave and his girl, she introduces a stranger as her boyfriend. Rick is enchanted by the pixie-faced girl and goes along with the flow. He even cancels his flight for the next day to spend the weekend with Betty. After successfully thwarting Dave and Sam by staging a mock proposal and engagement, Betty & Rick get closer. Almost so much so that Rick forgets all about his recent break up with Ronnie. They return to the city – coincidently the same city. Rick asks her out on a coffee date. They meet a few times. Ronnie wants him back. But Dave who is on a visit to the city passes comments about Rick & Betty’s engagement. Betty is thrown into Rick’s world head long. Rick has to choose between Betty & Ronnie.
