Abstract

As a librarian, books were Kyra’s best friends, not to say she didn’t have any in the real world. With 3 masters, one doctorate and another on the way, at the age of thirty she decides to go on the tour she had planned since infancy. So what if she had no-one to accompany her? On her last day of her vacation as a take home, she buys a pawn shop ring.

As the crown prince of Jenova, Andreas was tasked by his royal family to marry before his thirty fifth birthday. In a fit of anger he throws away a family heirloom, which finds its way to a pawn shop. After many endeavors, he finds what he was looking for on its way to US with a tourist. He follows her to get back the heirloom so that he could fulfill his promise to his Grandmere.

Will Andreas be able to find the heirloom? Will Kyra be able to part with the only token she had brought back from her one vacation ever? Will the ring turn out to fulfill the promise of finding its true owner? Or will it be to Kyra forever just a ‘pawn shop ring’?
